Camera Critter #99

When I lived in the Junipers west of town, I fed the critters. Be they bird, or deer, or even a Peacock, they knew they could always find food around my house.

One of the species of birds I enjoyed most was the Mountain Chickadee. There were at least a dozen of them who regularly visited my feed station. And if they arrived and found no food, they actually let me know it, very loudly.

The birds became so accustomed to us, that we could put bird seeds in our hand and they would eat right out of our hands.

I now live in town and although the chickadees are in the area, they don't visit my feeding station. They are great birds to watch and I miss seeing them. Hopefully, I'll see the Mountain Chickadees again at my feeders, but I doubt it will be where I currently live.

Below are images of the chickadees I have taken in the past. They definitely are cute birds.

A little different than the black capped chickadee we have in central Ontario and both are such cute little birds.

Someday I hope to have proper equipment to take pictures of birds. Yours are especially nice!
